IDEA Institute
About Us

The associates of IDEA Institute aim to provide new impulses for institutions and communities safeguarding liberal democracy and political pluralism; to promote value-based action and thinking in daily political activities as well as to facilitate the quest for and openness to the democratic experience.

We do not believe in the end of ideology, history or politics. We do not follow the order of objectivity and we reject the distrust in politics. Conversely, we believe in politics as a matrix of principle-based values, constructive ideas and critical thinking. Consequently, IDEA institute also aims to be instrumental in rethinking progressive policies with its analyses, discussions, research projects and policy recommendations.

We believe that political thinking and activism must never be driven by fear. Instead, they should be based on openly declared values and moral positions that are the only guarantee for the sense of security we need more now than ever before. IDEA Institute upholds and represents these values in all areas of its activity, such as political and democracy theories, economic and social policy issues, political analysis or communication consulting.

Instead of chasing rainbows in the market, the associates of IDEA Institute offer general and specific political or communication alternatives for those who consider liberal democracy, the minimization of social inequalities, transparency and politics as part of a practical, responsible and value-based political activity rather than abstract categories or a mere collection of data.
